Mom’s Goulash - Barbara Seng

1 cup chopped celery                         
½ lb bacon, cut into ¼ inch slices    
1 lb hamburger                                    
1 medium onion, chopped                
2-3 cups uncooked macaroni noodles
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
salt & pepper to taste

Cook celery in boiling water until tender.  Fry bacon, hamburger and onion together until meat loses pink color and onion is tender.  Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and drained celery.  Simmer sauce while cooking macaroni.  Mix together.  May be served at this point or baked for 20 minutes.
