1 tbsp soy sauce
8 water chestnuts, chopped 1 tsp salt
¼ cup green onion, chopped
1 tsp cornstarch
¾ lb ground pork
¾ tsp ground ginger
Thaw won ton wrappers, if frozen. Mix meat with all remaining ingredients. Shape won ton: Portion ½ tsp meat on center of each wrap. Fold to a triangle. Turn top of triangle to meet fold. Moisten corners with water. Overlap side corners and press firmly. Deep fat fry at 350º, a few at a time, until browned. Serve warm with catsup and mustard or your favorite sweet‑sour sauce. Makes 60 appetizers.
