1½ c milk
1 c flour
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ c butter
2 apples, peeled, cored, sliced
3 tbsp brown sugar
Preheat
oven to 425º. In large bowl mix eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Melt butter in 12 inch fluted quiche or pie
pan in oven. Add apple slices to baking dish and return to oven until
sizzling, but do not let brown. Remove
dish from oven and immediately pour batter over apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in middle of oven for 20-30 minutes
until center tests done. Serve hot with
warm maple syrup drizzled on top. 6-8
servings. (Can be done in 9x13 if
desired.)
