Bourbon Balls - Ruth Fletcher

1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs              
1 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 cup sifted powdered sugar             
¼ cup bourbon (rum or whiskey)
2 tbsp cocoa                                        
1½ tbsp Karo syrup

Mix dry ingredients.  Blend syrup and bourbon.  Mix together.  Form small balls and roll in sifted powdered sugar.  Chill.
