Holly Wreath Cookies - Nancy Fletcher

(These cookies were always in Mike’s house growing up around Christmas time)

1 cup butter                                         

1 tsp vanilla
1-3oz pkg cream cheese                    
2 cups flour
½ cup sugar                                         
green food coloring
red sugar sprinkles

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar, add vanilla and mix in flour.  Work in food coloring until desired shade is obtained.  Put dough into a cookie press using the star plate and form wreaths with the dough on a ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.  Sprinkle with red sugar sprinkles and cool.
