Pie Crust - Amanda Seng

2 cups flour                                          
1½ cups sugar
1 tbsp vanilla                                       
1 cup shortening
1 tsp salt

Cream together sugar, vanilla and shortening.  Mix in flour and salt until dough is well blended. Divide dough in half and roll out each half on a lightly floured surface. Do not over-flour. If this happens, sprinkle lightly with water and knead in. Dough should have a slightly marbleized look.  Makes two single or one double crust.
