Shepherd’s Pie - Charlene Fletcher

1 lb ground beef                                  
1 can tomato soup
1 can green beans                                               
1 can corn            
cheddar cheese, grated                      
4-5 servings mashed potatoes

Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain off grease.  Pour in tomato soup and heat with beef.  Pour into the bottom of a casserole dish.  Layer with one can drained green beans, 1 can drained corn, and then spread over the top with mashed potatoes, completely covering the meat and vegetables.  Top with grated cheddar cheese and put into a moderate over at 350º for approximately 30 minutes to heat through.  Let stand for 5 minutes before serving to allow mixture to set.
