1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2½ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Cream
shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill at least one hour. Roll out dough ⅛ inch thick on lightly
floured board. Cut into shapes and place
on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6-8
minutes at 400º or until very light brown.
