Banana Nut Bread - Amy Seng

⅓ cup butter softened                        
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs                                                    
1½ cups bananas, mashed (3-4 med.)
½ cup water                                         
½ cup walnuts, chopped
1¾ cups flour                                      
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder                          
½ tsp salt

Cream together the butter and sugar then add eggs and stir just until mixed.  Add bananas and stir again just until mixed.  Next mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt just until the dry ingredients are wet.   Stir in the nuts.  Grease the bottom only of a loaf pan.  Pour in the batter and bake at 350º for 1¼ hours.  Poke a knife into the center of the loaf and if it comes out clean, it’s done!  Let sit for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
