Bran Muffins - Ruth Fletcher

2 cups All-Bran                                   
1 cup flour
½ cup molasses                                   
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt                                                               
1 cup milk
1 egg


Sift flour and measure.  Add soda, salt, and sift again.  Add well beaten egg mixed with milk, molasses and bran.  Add shortening last, bake in hot oven at 425 º for 20 minutes.
