¼ cup heavy cream
½ cup Karo syrup
2 tbsp margarine
½ cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
Cook the yams, peel, and quarter. Arrange in a baking dish in a single
layer. Bake in the oven at 325º for 15
minutes. In a saucepan combine remaining
ingredients, stirring constantly and bringing to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Pour over the yams, basting frequently and
baking an additional 15 minutes.
