Chicken Italiano - Charlene Fletcher

(Charlene makes this at home for us from time to time.  Its one of Ryan’s favorites)

2 cups spaghetti sauce                       
½ tsp dried oregano leaves
4 whole chicken breasts, split           
⅛ tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil                                     
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter                                        
12oz thin spaghetti
1 tsp salt                                                               
grated parmesan cheese

Sprinkle chicken with lemon juice, salt, oregano and pepper.  Heat oil and butter in large skillet over medium heat; add chicken pieces skin side down.  Cover and cook until chicken is golden.  Turn chicken over and cook 5 minutes longer.  Pour spaghetti sauce over chicken, reduce heat; cover and cook until chicken is tender, about 30 minutes.  Stir once during cooking.  Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions and drain.  Place spaghetti on large serving platter, top with chicken.  Pour sauce over all; sprinkle with cheese, serve hot.
