Crazy Meatballs - Sandi Fletcher

(Aunt Sandi made these for Christmas as some of our snack food while we opened gifts, but they also make great appetizers.)

2 lbs ground round                             
1¼ cups bread crumbs 
3 beaten eggs
                                       
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 cup brown sugar                              
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 bottle chili sauce
                              
1 bottle of water
1-14
oz can mild sauerkraut.(drain and rinse with cold water)

Mix together the ground round, bread crumbs, eggs and onion soup mix, then form into little balls.  Place in a 9x13 inch pan and set aside. Measure water in chili sauce bottle and mix with the remaining ingredients together and pour over meatballs.  Cook in a 350ยบ oven for about 1½ hours.  Serve with toothpicks.
