1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp nutmeg
¾ cup real butter
1½ cups sugar
1 egg
1 cup eggnog
Mix
dry ingredients in bowl and set aside. 
Mix butter, sugar & egg w/ electric mixer then add dry ingredients and
eggnog alternately and mix thoroughly with electric mixer.  Chill batter 4 hours or overnight.  Roll out dough (to about ¼ inch) on
generously floured surface (dough is very sticky) then use small cookie
cutters.  Bake at 350º for 6-8 minutes
being careful not to over bake.  Bottoms
will be only very lightly golden.  Cool
and roll in powdered sugar.
