Fudge - Ruth Fletcher

⅔ cup Hersheys cocoa                      
  cups milk
3 cups sugar                                         
  tbsp butter
⅛ tsp salt                                              
1 tsp vanilla
                        
Combine cocoa with sugar and salt.  Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.  Bring to soft ball stage (forms a soft ball if dripped into ice cold water).  Remove from heat and mix in butter.  Cool until luke warm and add vanilla beating until mixture thickens.  Pour into buttered pan and let cool completely.
