onion, thinly sliced
Put
beans in pot and add water almost to cover.
Add vinegar and sugar to taste. Cut bacon strips into small bits and fry until
crisp. Add to beans. The fat that’s left in pan add small amount
of flour to thicken and add to beans. Do
not overcook. When ready to serve add
small amount of thinly sliced onion.
