1½ cups light Karo syrup
1 cup water
½ bottle of flavoring
food color
powdered sugar
Stir
sugar, Light Karo Syrup and water till dissolved. Bring to rolling boil. Boil till hard crack (300º) Do not stir. Fold in ½ bottle of flavoring and food
color. Pour onto powdered sugar on large
cookie sheet or marble. Cover with
powdered sugar. Cut with scissors. Shake off excess powdered sugar. (Buy flavoring with oil at drugstore: lemon, orange, grape, raspberry, butter rum, cinnamon)
