Lee's Beef Jerky - Michael Fletcher

(I hadn’t made this in years as our newer ovens don’t have a pilot light to help keep the inside of the oven dry. We tried them recently with a food dehydrator and they turned out great!)

2 lbs bottom round steak (slice very thin)      
10oz soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce                             
1 bottle seasoned pepper

Mix soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce together.  Dip beef slice by slice.   Lay strips out on paper toweling to dry.  Generously shake seasoned pepper on strips.  Let sit for 10 minutes.  Lay strips out on oven racks with oven off.  Dry overnight.  Make sure beef is completely dried out.  Store in paper bag or air tight container.
