tbsp oil
1½ cups salt                                          3 cups water
2 tbsp cream of tartar
Pour
all ingredients into a large pot.  Stir
constantly over medium heat until a dough ball forms by pulling away from the
sides of the pan.  Cool until dough can
be handled and then knead dough until the texture matches playdough consistency
(1 to 2 minutes).  Store in plastic
container or zip-lock bag.  The dough
should last for at least three months.  Note:  This recipe is made from edible ingredients
and is not toxic in small amounts. 
However, it is not intended as a food item.
