Powdered Nut Ball - Nancy Fletcher

(a holiday favorite at Christmas time)

1 cup butter                                         
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla                                         
2¼ cups flour
¾ cup finely chopped nuts                               
½ cup powdered sugar

Cream butter with salt and vanilla.  Thoroughly blend in flour and nuts.  Chill the dough overnight in the fridge.  Preheat the oven to 400º.  Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake 10-12 minutes.  Let cool slightly.  While somewhat warm, roll in powdered sugar and allow to finish cooling.
