2 cups flour
1 cube butter
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup chopped walnuts
Blend
brown sugar, flour and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Remove 1cup of the mixture and reserve. To remaining mixture add the baking powder,
salt, vanilla, milk and egg. Mix until smooth and blended. Butter a 9x13 pan. Turn batter into the pan, spreading it
evenly. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over
evenly, then sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts. Bake 30‑35 minutes at 350º until cake pulls
away from the side of the pan and the center tests done.
