Waffles - Barbara Seng

3 eggs                                                    
½ cup oil                                               
1½ cups milk                                       
1¾ cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

Beat eggs, milk and oil together.  Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.  Bake in preheated waffle iron until golden brown.  This makes a light crisp waffle.  Softer waffles can be made by using 1½ cups buttermilk and 1 tsp baking soda instead of the milk and 2 tsp baking powder in place of 4 tsp.
