Ginny’s Holiday Stuffing Recipe - Ginny Seng

1 tbsp butter                                        
1 clove pressed garlic
1 sm. ‘sweet’ onion, chopped           
½ of 12oz tube ‘Jimmy Dean’ sausage
1 stalk of celery – finely chopped   
1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped                     
½ cup walnuts, chopped                   
1-8oz can water chestnuts, chopped
1 box Butterball Stuffing Mix          
1 box Stove Top stuffing mix

Combine butter, garlic, onion, sausage and celery in skillet and cook over low heat until onions & sausage are well cooked (Drain any grease). Add cranberries, walnuts, water chestnuts.  Heat through then turn off heat & let sit.  Follow directions on stuffing mixes, combined.  When water boils, add the cooked sausage mixture to the water & stir well. Then add bread crumbs per directions and let sit for 5 minutes  Fluff well then place in a baking dish & bake at 350-400º for 30 minutes.
