Meatballs - Nancy Fletcher

(Mom used to make these by the dozens, freeze them in bags, and then have meatballs ready when needed for spaghetti or any other dish.  We have used them in another dish that I had as a kid with gravy and egg noodles. See the next recipe)

1½ lbs lean ground beef                    
⅓ cup milk
⅓ cup fine dry bread crumbs           
2 tsp instant minced onion
2 eggs                                                    
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
¾ tsp salt                                              
⅛ tsp pepper

Combine all ingredients, mix together well. (use your hands, it’s the best way!)  Shape balls about 2 tbsp for each.  Place on lightly greased baking sheet.  Bake at 500º for 12 minutes.  They freeze well!
