Turkey Dressing - Ruth Fletcher

2 pkgs pork sausage                           
4 tart apples                                         
salt                                         
1½ loaves of bread, stale, broken into pieces
½ lb pkg chopped nuts                      
several large outer stalks of celery, chopped
sage to taste                                         
3 medium onions, chopped

In a large frying pan cook the pork sausage, breaking up into small pieces as it fries.  When nearly done, add celery and onions.  Fry until soft.  Add apples, and cook until tender.  Stir frequently and seasoning to taste.   Mix with stale bread pieces and serve.
