Upside-Down Chocolate Cake - Barbara Seng

1 cup flour                                           
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder                           
1¼ cup sugar
7 tbsp cocoa                                        
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla                                         
2 tbsp melted butter
½ cup chopped nuts                           
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 cup water

Grease 8 inch pan.  Mix flour, salt, baking powder, ¾ Cup sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa in bowl.  Mix in the milk and vanilla until smooth.  Stir in melted butter and nuts lightly.  Spread evenly in pan.  In a saucepan mix brown sugar, water and remaining sugar and cocoa.  Bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.  Pour over batter in pan.  Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.  Cool 20 minutes.  Turn out, upside down.  Fudge will be on top.
